Dr. Linda Cushing
Dr. Cushing served four years as Director of Optometric Services at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. She has also provided optometric care at the Stanford Eye Laser Center and was a Clinical Instructor at the University of California, Berkeley School of Optometry. She has had scholarly articles published in scientific journals for the field of optometry.
Dr. Cushing studied refractive surgery at Stanford and did post-doctoral work at leading private practices in Annapolis, Maryland and Los Angeles, California. With her advanced training, she is able to offer comprehensive consultations to her patients in the area of refractive surgery. In addition, she has had the procedure herself, enabling her to discuss options and outcomes from a first-hand perspective.
Dr. Cheslyn Gan
Along with her private practice, Dr. Gan is an Associate Clinical Professor of Optometry for contact lenses at UC Berkeley. She is a recognized authority in the field of corneal physiology, and has had several research papers published in scientific journals. She received the prestigious Garland Clay Award from the American Academy of Optometry for "The Most Significant Paper of Clinical Optometry" in 1994.
Dr. Gan's work with contact lenses helps her provide patients with cutting-edge care. She has done extensive research into the long-term health consequences of extended-wear lenses. Her mission is to provide her patients with first-class care, improved vision, and better health leading to fewer complications and a more positive long-term prognosis.
Jerry Rand, ABOC
Jerry has been a certified optician for over 20 years. He has an extensive background in individualized frame selection, having apprenticed under award-winning optometrists and opticians in the Bay Area and Ohio. Jerry has attended optical shows from Paris to New York to Las Vegas and understands the latest frame trends and the newest technologies in eyeglass lenses. He specializes in prescription sun wear. |
